Protest Netanyahu in Canada Don’t Attack Iran

On March 2nd, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was in Ottawa. He and Stephen Harper were expected to discuss a potential attack on Iran.

To show Harper that we stand opposed to another war based on lies, many Canadians from diverse backgrounds and faiths united in solidarity to protest at the United States Consulate in Toronto on Sunday, March 4, 2012. After many passionate speeches, the crowd marched to the Israeli Consulate in Toronto.

The UGLY TRUTH was there to oppose the war and to document the event to share this important message with the rest of the international community.

Statement by the Canadian Peace Alliance & Afghans For Peace

“The Harper government supports this disastrous war which will result in untold death and the destabilization of the entire region. It is time for Canadians to stand with the people of Iran to demand self determination and to stop this new war drive.”
