On October 22, the Ludwig Von Mises Institute of Canada and the Institute for Liberal Studies put on a day long conference on Austrian economics and free banking – a school of economic thought advocating liberty in monetary policy in stark contrast to failed establishment ‘Keynesian’ economics.
